So, who is this girl? I like your curiosity. For starters, I’m Estefania, a freelance writer based in Miami, Florida. I’m obsessed with dogs. My three genie wishes would be to speak every language fluently, to read every book in an instant, and teleportation. Jeopardy! and crossword puzzles are my jam.

That’s the nutshell. The gooey center is that I love words — reading them, putting them together in new and interesting ways, and understanding how we use them to express ourselves. I am a storyteller, grammar nerd, and AP style enthusiast who prefers to use the Oxford comma. (That’s a writer joke…if you don’t get it, trust me it’s delightful)

I was the kid coming up with wacky stories in my middle school creative writing class. As a big kid, I earned my bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Florida – that’s where I learned the nitty gritty of writing well.

Through the twists and turns of life, I ended up in marketing & communications where I have built my career over the last 10 years working for an internationally acclaimed dance company, a national humanitarian organization, a boutique marketing agency, and global vacation and travel brands.

Solopreneur

When COVID-19 changed the world, I got laid off. Desperate to stay productive, I learned what “copywriting” really was and realized I had been doing it in some capacity for these diverse brands in different industries all along! If writing and marketing had a baby, it would be copywriting. It is truly the perfect fusion of my skill sets.

I started WriterType Copywriting because I knew I could help people like you – business owners, non-profit runners, marketing directors, entrepreneurs, side hustlers, change makers and dream shapers – to get your vision and message out to the world. I’ve seen too many good ideas undermined by lackluster writing. I can make your words shine.
